A Latin wordmark can be a useful anchor when it is already recognized or legally fixed. Localizing everything may dilute recognition, especially for luxury, technology, and cultural brands.

Keep the wordmark stable, then localize the system around it. Pair it with CJK type that matches tone rather than shape. A geometric Latin logo does not always need a geometric Chinese companion.

The question is not whether the brand should look identical everywhere. The question is which parts must stay stable for recognition, and which parts should adapt for reading, trust, and market fluency.
